    Laboratory Technician - Embryology (1-year contract)

    We are currently looking for a Lab Technician for our embryo laboratory located in St-Hyacinthe. The selected candidate(s) will report to the Embryo Lab Supervisor. His/her main function will consist in the production of embryos in accordance with the procedures and protocols in place.

    Among the regular tasks, your responsibilities will include: Preparing media bases according to established protocols, maintaining and monitoring material and equipment, participate at the embryo production activities.

    Your qualifications will include:

    - A college diploma in biotechnology (DEC) or other related fields, preferably a BSC
    - 2-3 years of experience in a reproduction laboratory
    - Attention to details
    - Organisation and observation
    - Team work and communication
    - Analytical and scientific mind
    - Knowledge of French will be an asset

    HERD ASSISTANT- Boviteq (PERMANENT)

    We are currently looking for a Farm Worker for our facilities located in St-Hyacinthe. The selected candidate will report to the farm manager, and his/her main function will be to perform operations related to the physical well-being of animals and the maintenance of their environment. You will be willing to work weekdays and weekends according to the schedule in place.

    Responsibilities include:

    - Prepare the total ration and distribute feed
    - Unload hay and bedding and move them to appropriate locations
    - Wash, disinfect and ensure basic maintenance of the stalls in the barn, as well as maintenance of farm machinery and equipment
    - Inform superiors of any anomalies, injuries or other observations
    - Participate in the heat monitoring program according to the policies in place
    - Act as support for activities requiring the presence of a veterinarian or an animal health technician
    - Perform hoof trimming, shaving, brushing, washing and all other basic care
    - Move the animals as required and apply ear tags
    - Maintain the land adjacent to the barns

    Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

    - Secondary education diploma or related experience
    - Driver’s licence
    - Attention to details and problem solving
    - Teamwork and communication
    - Manual dexterity

    Lab Coordinator- Embryo Operations (Permanent position)

    We are currently seeking an individual for the Lab Coordinator position at our embryo production laboratory located in St-Hyacinthe. The successful candidate will report to the Embryo Lab Supervisor. His/her main function will be the daily management of operations related to molecular biology and embryo micromanipulation within our lab production team and to ensure activities are performed in accordance with the required quality standards.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    - Being part of the production operations
    - Planning, suggesting and coordinating schedules
    - Working in collaboration with the R&D team and Quality Assurance
    - Ensuring material is adequate and sufficient
    - Ensuring daily supervision of staff by nurturing a productive work environment, positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.

    Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

    - Expertise in molecular biology and genomics
    - A college diploma in biotechnologies (DEC) or related field, BSC preferred
    - 3 years of experience in a laboratory, including 2 years in staff and operations management
    - An analytic and scientific mind (data analysis)
    - Attention to details
    - Organization, observation and problem-solving skills
    - Team work, communication and leadership
    - Experience in ICSI and in vitro embryo production – an asset
    - Knowledge of English – an asset

    Animal Health Technician

    We are currently looking for an Animal Health Technician for our farm located in St-Hyacinthe. The selected candidate(s) will report to the veterinarian and work in conjunction with the production team. His/Her main function will be to ensure informational monitoring of the animals according to the various internal and external rules, while providing nursing care to animals within the herd.

    Among you regular tasks, you will be responsible for: Animal entries into the files and other computer programs, ensuring that inventories of medicine and the equipment required for animal health interventions are kept up-to-date. Handle, immobilize and look after animals during and after veterinary manipulations, and collaborate on diagnosis by communicating the clinical observations that have been detected.

    Your qualifications will include:
