As Semex’s Vice-President, Embryos, Melissa leads Semex’s Embryo Teams within Boviteq.
Well-known in the dairy industry, Melissa joined Semex in May 2012 as a Sales & Product Specialist working closely with the both the Embryo and Product Support Teams, and for many years acted as the Embryo Program Manager for Semex/Boviteq working closely with our Sales, Export and Product Development Teams.
Additionally, Melissa is fully bilingual in English and French, and is co-owner of the accomplished Lencrest Jerseys in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada. Located at the Boviteq headquarters in Saint-Hyacinthe, Melissa brings grassroots knowledge of genetic advancement strategies to Semex and the Boviteq Team.

Tyson Shea serves as the General Manager of Semex Australia, a leading provider of bovine genetics and services. He manages the company's regional operations based in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria.
Tyson joined Semex in 2006 as a Product Support Specialist. After 10 years, he transitioned to the role of Product Operations Manager and, in February 2022, was appointed General Manager of Semex Pty Ltd. He has experience in embryo sales, genetic strategies, operations, and product management. Tyson has played a pivotal role in introducing Boviteq's IVF services to Australian dairy and beef producers, aiming to improve breeding strategies and meet the growing demand for advanced reproductive technologies.
Tyson completed his studies at St Patrick's College in Ballarat. He is strongly connected to the local community and is actively involved in his family's Holstein and Guernsey farm.
He is focused on driving innovation and growth within Australia's livestock industry.
